People high on Fairness are committed to equality in their social relations and are compassionate about others. They are sensitized to social issues and believe others should not be discriminated against.

Fairness manifests in two types of reasoning:

  • Justice reasoning, in which the fair person uses logic and weighing of principles to determine whether it was morally right, and
  • Care reasoning, in which the fair person compliments using logic with care, empathy, and relational understanding.

Fair people feel discomfort when witnessing injustices, this being one of the manifestations of empathy.
